SAPC’s monthly Members Meetings are held at the Sisters Library on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 4:00PM till 6:00PM. Occasionally, the meeting date is changed due to scheduling conflicts at the library. Such changes are announced in the Sisters Nugget and in SAPC’s digital newsletter. Members can also contact the SAPC board of directors at SistersPhotoClub@gmail.com to confirm the meeting date.

Membership in SAPC offers a number of significant benefits:

• Members are able to develop a personal on-line portfolio on the club’s SmugMug website. Here, a member’s favorite photographs are available for others to view. These photos are not downloadable, nor can they be purchased directly from the site. Members, however, can list their personal website on their portfolio so they can sell their photos from their own website.

• Each month, the club announces a Photo Challenge. The objective of this challenge is to encourage members to get out and use their camera. Often, the Challenge is related to a topic presented at a club meeting. At other times, the Challenge is more general and subject to the individual member’s own interpretation. Members are generally able to upload up to three Challenge photos to the club’s website. From there, they are reviewed and discussed at the next meeting.  Those members not wishing to submit photos to any particular challenge can submit photos in the monthly Show & Tell category.

• Once a year, the club has the opportunity to put up a month-long photo exhibit in the Sisters Library. Each SAPC member can submit up to five photos for display at that show.

• In December of each year, the club puts on a Holiday Potluck for all members. This event is held instead of a December meeting. This holiday party, held at the home of one of our members, is exclusively for members and their spouse. At this gathering, we share food and beverage, and we also view members’ photos.

Membership forms can be downloaded from this link SAPC Membership Form. The completed membership form can be mailed with a check to Sisters Area Photography Club (SAPC), P.O. Box 263, Sisters, Oregon 97759. Or it can be handed in at any SAPC club meeting. The annual membership is for the calendar year.
